Charity Invitational

Charity Invitational is an annual fundraising event that helps RMCHCS initiate new programs and services to improve the health of people in our community.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and donors, Charity Invitational has become one of New Mexico's largest Charity events. Charity Invitational consists of a golf tournament, run/walk and dinner ball. (add pictures).

Finding the money to purchase new equipment is a big challenge for many healthcare organizations. Medical equipment is very costly and becomes outdated very quickly.

The Women¡¯s Health Unit at RMCHCS was in need of new equipment¡ªfrom infant warmers to a new fetal heart monitoring system. Thanks to the generous supporters of Charity Invitational XII, this unit now has several new pieces of equipment.

The Charity Invitational funds helped purchase two new infant warming units with infant resuscitators. A premature or low-birth weight baby is more susceptible to thermal instability, which results in labored breathing.? The infant warmers are intended to provide safe, powerful and controlled warming to restore the temperature drop experienced by the baby immediately after delivery.?
