RMCHCS operates one of the largest hospital owned dialysis networks in the United States. Since the Indian Health Services does not provide dialysis or nephrology services, RMCHCS contracts with Indian Health Service to provide these services for Native American patients.

RMCHCS operates three outpatient dialysis units. A 28-station unit in Gallup, a 31-station unit in Zuni and a 10-station unit in Crownpoint. RMCHCS also provides CAPD (home dialysis) services.

RMCHCS dialysis units consistently are rated in the top 10 percent in the United States by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, with the Zuni Dialysis Unit rated number one in the Nation for patient outcomes for several years running.
